Co-owned by Dan Blalock, a seasoned landman with nearly 30 years of local experience, and Catherine Kenjura, a fifth-generation Brenhamite and local real estate, estate planning, and probate attorney, BATCo is uniquely positioned to serve the people of Washington County. Their combined expertise, paired with deep ties to the community, ensures every client receives personal, informed, and trustworthy service.

Meet The Team
Catherine
Owner
Catherine Kenjura is a fifth-generation Brenhamite with a deep love for her hometown and community. After growing up in Brenham, she went on to study at Texas A&M University and later earned her law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law. Today, she proudly practices law as the owner of Kenjura Law Firm, while also serving as co-owner of Brenham Abstract & Title Company.
Beyond her professional work, Catherine is a devoted mom of three and an active volunteer in numerous local organizations and school activities. Her strong roots, legal expertise, and commitment to serving others make her a trusted partner for families and businesses across Washington County.
Dan
Owner
Dan Blalock brings decades of experience in the energy and real estate industries to his role as co-owner of Brenham Abstract & Title Company. Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, Dan attended Westminster College in Missouri before beginning his career as a landman. Nearly 30 years ago, he and his wife moved their young family to Brenham, where they quickly became active in local churches, community organizations, and the public school district.
A proud father of two adult daughters, Dan is deeply invested in both his family and his community. His professional expertise, paired with his long-standing commitment to Brenham, has earned him a reputation for trust, integrity, and local insight.
